Job Description
The company is currently hiring dedicated and detail oriented Bookkeepers open to both male and female candidates. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining accurate accounts, and supporting daily administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain ledgers
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Assist with payroll preparation and employee records
- Generate financial reports for management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and company policies
Requirements / Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Sage)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of Canadian tax and payroll regulations
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and financial tools
